Samsara Boutique Hotel, Kathmandu

My stay at the hotel had some lovely highlights—I experienced fantastic service from a genuinely friendly team and enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was conveniently situated in a bustling area, making it easy to explore, but it did feel a bit overwhelming at night. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of my room left much to be desired, which impacted my overall comfort.

I had an amazing experience at Samsara Hotel, tucked away in a peaceful lane yet just minutes from the bustling Thamel district. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, and the included breakfast offered a good variety, although the instant coffee was a bit of a letdown. The garden area provided a lovely space to unwind, making the whole experience quite special. However, the room I stayed in was a bit small and the TV didn’t work, which was not ideal but didn't really affect my overall enjoyment.

Staying at the Samsara Resort Hotel was a delightful experience. The location is perfect, tucked away in Thamel, making it easy to explore shops and eateries while having a peaceful spot to retreat to. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Furthermore, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the breakfast was fantastic with a variety of options. However, the hotel does feel a bit basic, but it exceeded my expectations for a 2-star place.

Overall, it was great value for money, but a more consistent meal experience could enhance the stay.
